Spend an evening under the stars at the library!

At 7:15 p.m., our program begins with a "Shooting for the Stars" presentation from Firefly Aerospace. Firefly Aerospace is an end-to-end space services company. From rocket launches to landing on the moon, Firefly will share its story of how as a local Texas company they have launched, landed, and operated in space. Aiming to make space attainable for everyone, Firefly hopes to educate their local community on what’s going on right in their backyard and inspire the next generation to dream big.

At 7:45 p.m., attendees will move outside to Bell Park (next to the library) for stargazing with Stars and Science Austin and Williamson County Astronomy Club. After a brief sky tour, attendees can observe the night sky and ask questions. Telescope opportunities will be limited.

We encourage you to bring your own blankets and chairs (and binoculars!) to enjoy the stars!

This program is for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Space is limited. First come, first served.
