Full Access Library Card required to register. Walk-ins allowed as space allows (no card required). 

  • Due to the nature of this program, registrants over five (5) minutes late will not be admitted.
  • Waitlisted registrants will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis five (5) minutes after the scheduled start time. Remaining seats will be available for walk-in patrons as space allows (no card required).

Learn the basics of sewing and create a quick and simple sewing project with us in this class! We have Singer Sewing Machines available to use during this class, but we encourage bringing your own to learn on your machine.

This time, learn the ins and outs of sublimation while creating a custom notebook based on your favorite book. This class is for ages 8 and older only. Only participants should register.

Tap into your inner rhythm and let your spirit soar with an interactive music making experience created just for you! No musical experience is required to feel the extraordinary connection and joy of being united in the rhythm. Just bring your heartbeat, your good vibes and the rest will follow. We can’t WAIT to see you in the circle!

This program is for ages 13 and up only. Limited seats available. First come, first served.

About the Presenter:

A skilled world music percussionist trained in multiple, evidence-based facilitation methods, Suzy Turner is the Founder of Soulshine Rhythm Experience, based here in the Austin area. The Soulshine mission has always been about creating connection through the universal language of rhythm. Known for her uplifting and inclusive approach, Suzy inspires everyone, regardless of ability or experience, to be transformed by the power of drumming together!
