Read, sing, and play with us at Baby Storytime! For the first 15 minutes, librarians lead the group in singing songs, doing fingerplays, and reading a book. For the last 15 minutes, babies have social time to play with toys, caregivers, and each other. This program is for caregivers and babies ages 0-18 months only. Siblings may also attend.

Craft with us or grab a craft to take home. 

• No registration or card required. Crafts are available while supplies last.

Practice motor skills, counting, letters and more with your child to help them get ready for kindergarten and encourage a love of learning. Activities will rotate each week and are self-paced with a caregiver. This program is for children ages 3-5 only with an adult caregiver. Space is limited.

Our Makerspace Open Labs are designed to offer patrons a chance to work on projects of their choice. You are responsible for bringing the approved materials, but we supply select equipment. 

Full Access Library Card required. Resident and Paid Non-resident Cards only. TexShare/Limited Access Cards are not eligible.

Walk-ins will not be allowed. Please add your name to the waitlist on Library Calendar in order to be permitted if space allows. Waitlist registrants will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis five minutes after the scheduled start time.

Learn about Makerspace classes and Studio in this informational session. This program includes:

• Information about accepted library cards for Makerspace registration
• General information about how to utilize the Makerspaces and the types of classes offered
• A tour of our Makerspaces, tools, and resources

Your move! Meet up with other chess fans to play a few games. Players of all abilities are welcome, but basic knowledge of how to play is recommended. Formal instruction is not provided. Boards and pieces are provided. This program is for ages 5-17 only.
