Program Description

Event Details

Compete in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament on Nintendo Switch. The first-place winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card. The second-place winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

This event is for ages 12-18 only. Registration is required. Teens on the waitlist are encouraged to attend in case of last-minute cancellations or late arrivals. Walk-ins will be admitted if space allows. 

Tournament Rules

  • First to 1 win.
  • Stock 3, 6:00 time limit.
  • Items off, Spirits off, Damage Handicap off, Stage Hazard Toggle off.
  • Final Smash Meter on.
  • Battlefield stage.
  • CPU level 6.
  • All characters OK, but there are no DLC characters available.
  • No amiibos or customized characters.
  • No stalling or glitch exploits.
  • No pausing or otherwise interfering with play.
  • No trash-talking.
  • Pro Controllers will be provided by the library. No personal controllers.
  • Library staff has final say over all rule disputes.
