Event Details

Prior to using open lab, we highly encourage you to check out one of the Makerspace tours to learn more about this feature and how you may use it.

Before making reservations and using open lab equipment, users must:

  1. Have a full access library card
  2. Complete the Makerspace Usage Agreement
  3. Complete the equipment orientation

Once the user agreement and orientation are completed, adult patrons with full access library cards may reserve equipment to use in our Makerspaces through our Library Calendar room reservations. Users must be age 18 or older to reserve and use the equipment during open lab. Open Lab is only accessible through the equipment reservation link above.

Equipment reservations can be made up to 8 days in advance of the reservation. Patron is responsible for knowing how to use the equipment prior to reserving it. If you cannot operate the piece of equipment safely, you will be asked to complete training and make a new future reservation. Patrons must supply their own materials in accordance with the material guidelines listed on the Cedar Park Public Library Makerspace website. Limited materials are available for purchase onsite through the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation. Please check the hours of the Open Lab prior to making your reservation.
